You have a home at Rose House!

IU is a great place. There are countless things to get involved with while you are a student here. In fact, there can be too much.  In order to have time to do your coursework and have some balance in your life, you will want to choose a few particular activities to be involved with.

Sometimes you need a way to make campus feel a little smaller.  The Rose House, home to Lutheran Campus Ministry at IU can be that place for you. Rose House is home to a campus focused Christian community in the Lutheran tradition.

Whether you join us for Table Talk Wednesdays, Theology on Tap, or any other gathering, here is what you can expect...

  • You will find a lively, caring community of students who are like you; on campus to learn, grow and prepare for the next chapter in their lives.
  • You will find staff who can help you grow in a number of ways, and support you when you need it.
  • You will find a place to ask questions about life and faith, and you will find there is no question that is “off-limits” for discussion.
  • You will find that you are welcome.

Come see for yourself. Come your first week on campus. Come your last week on campus. Come any week in-between. Our worship services, regular events and some other programs are listed on this website. Join our email list, or follow us on Facebook or Twitter to keep up to date. You are always welcome! Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends, too.

An alum's wish:
"May Rose House be a place that you feel rooted, nurtured, and reminded of God's magnificent love. You are family here, throughout the seasons. Come, grow, and branch out to serve those around you. Join the community, the family tree, all are welcome here."

Lutheran Campus Ministry at IU is a Reconciling in Christ ministry.  LCM-IU, through its Affirmation of Welcome echoes the apostle Paul's claim that in Christ "there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female" (Galatians 3:28). Christ has made us one. We acknowledge this reconciliation extends to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Lutheran Campus Ministry at IU is a part of LuMin, a network of campus ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
